What we take on
Domestic roofing in Newark, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. Each job starts with a look at the roof and a written quote. If it is not something we do, we will say so.
Typical work includes replacing damaged tiles or slates, reseating ridges, sorting valley leaks and repairing lead around chimneys and abutments. We will not talk you into a full re-roof if a repair will do.
If the existing roof is at the end of its life we will set out the specification in writing: covering, underlay, ventilation, insulation notes where relevant, and how long we expect to be on site. Timescales depend on the job and the weather.
A flat roof that ponds water will fail again if you only stick a new layer over the old one. We will say if the deck or outlets need work before covering.
Blocked or sagging gutters soak fascia and brickwork. We replace uPVC or timber boards as needed and set gutters to a proper fall. Colour and profile can be matched to the house.
We do not pretend to be specialist chimney sweeps. We deal with the weatherproofing: pointing, lead, pots and flaunching. If the stack needs a builder or a lining, we will say so.
